Fishing Trawlers head out from the bar at Tweed Heads nearly everyday chasing species such as Eastern King Prawns, Spanner Crabs, Snapper, Octopus, Bonito, Balmain Bugs, Mulloway, Sand Flathead, Carpet Shark, School Whiting, Squid and Blue Swimmer Crabs.
