South Golden Beach is a small community in northern New South wales. It is about an hour from the Gold Coast of Queensland just before Byron Bay. On most days the beach is almost deserted apart from the casual jogger or the local out for their daily beach walk.

The lighthouse at Byron Bay is a must visit for those coming to the Gold Coast of Queensland or the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. The lighthouse itself is something to see but the view and it’s spectacular location is a wonder.
It is also Australia’s most easterly point. There a wonderful walking tracks and it is a photographers dream, with beaches, ocean views, mountain views, whale watching and more and more.
